Mark Fasczewski

Mark has been involved in cycling for over 25 years.  He started racing BMX, and eventually moved on to mountain and road bikes.  While living and racing in Las Vegas, NV, he found his appetite for information on how to become better on the bike was unquenchable. He also found he enjoyed using his newfound knowledge to help others get fitter and faster. Because of this, Mark pursued the USA Cycling Coaching Education program in 1995.  He received his Level 3 coaching license and continued on with the coaching education program, receiving his Level 1 (Elite Level) license in 2001.  Mark serves on the USA Cycling Coaching Education Committee, who's primary job is to develop the USAC Coaching Education's program initiatives and educational development for licensed coaches.  He received his NSCA Certified Personal Trainer certification in 2000, and is a Certified Coach with the Leukemia Foundation's Team in Training Program.  His combination of backgrounds gives him a distinct advantage when working with clients to help identify the most effective and efficient modalities to use to help those clients reach their goals.

In addition, Mark has been involved in team management roles since 1995, and has helped direct junior and amateur squads to success. In 2005, he traveled overseas to help coach the junior and U23 National teams for the USA.  Two of Mark's current juniors were selected and competed in Europe during 2006 and 2007. He has had clients stand on podiums at the local level, all the way up through international competitions. Currently, Mark is the Team Director for the Vantaggio-Specialized Professional Women's Mountain Bike Team.

Kimberly Flynn Fasczewski

Kimberly has been racing bikes since 1996. While attending the University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee in pursuit of her undergraduate degree in political science, Kimberly started racing mountain bikes on the collegiate scene.  She was on her way to law school, but decided to put that on hold temporarily in order to pursue her newfound passion.  In 1999, after relocating to Chattanooga, TN, Kimberly started Team Peggy, an all-women's club in order to promote women cycling.  It became very successful and was one of the top competitive women's teams in the Southeast.  Kimberly ascended through the ranks and received her Pro license in 2001. She pursued, and subsequently received, her USA Cycling Level 3 license in 2002 and her Level 2 license in 2003.  While continuing to race at the Pro level, she started the Vantaggio - Specialized Professional Women's Mountain Bike Team in 2006 and pursued another passion of hers...nutrition.  Kimberly received her Primary Sports Nutritionist License from the National Association of Sports Nutritionists in 2006.
